5.0 out of 5 stars Kyler Scott – On par with Robert Langdon and Myron Bolitar!, June 10, 2013

This review is from: Identity (Kindle Edition)

So good! Really addictive. I’m a big fan of the Myron Bolitar character in Harlan Coban books and have been looking for a character/author as exciting. I read this book based on a recommendation from a friend – having never read anything by this author before. Now I’m totally hooked only to find out this was Joseph’s first novel. Now, it turns out, I have to wait to find out what’s next for Kyler and Alani and all the rest of the characters. My impatience aside, this book embodies the saying ‘page turner.’ it’s just descriptive enough to make you feel like you’re there without being overly impressed with itself. Great and socially relevant plot but, all in all, it’s just a good time read. Fast-paced right from the first chapter to the last twist. Great first outing Mr. Joseph. I look forward to many more.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Worthy Read August 4, 2013
I admit to having surrendered to the “drive through” mentality of wanting my satisfaction ready-made. I’ve moved more quickly to the books that had the words “quick read” in their reviews. I cannot say how happy I was while taking the time to read Identity (recommended by a friend) that Kyler’s journey was going to fast. Like a great meal, I forced myself to slow down and savor each page. Limiting myself so it would last longer. I love this genre and I love that some of the familiar was peppered with elements that were fresh. I hope that I can return the favor to my friend by telling him that Mr. Joseph has written more for us to enjoy! P.S. why has writing this review made me hungry?

Identity by Anthony Joseph is a fast paced ride through amazing settings surrounded by the best things money can buy. The good guys and bad guys were equally interesting and compelling. I recommend this book!

This is definitely a page-turner, hard to put down. I also love the fact that a spy for the CIA is a popular film-star – what a concept. The character development is well done and certainly gives you a feel for each character. Also, love the little added twist to the ending. Kudos to the author for the plot development and can’t wait to read the next one.

This book reads well – it has likable characters, well developed settings in Europe and the US, obvious technical research, and a plot that keeps you engaged from start to finish. I would liken it to a James Patterson or John Grisham read – not overly detailed or involved, but a good story that makes you want to keep reading. Look forward to reading more by Mr. Joseph!

I think it was a well written story, with lots of suspense. I am looking forward to more books written by this author. Please inform me when a new book comes out. Thank you!!!!! I am sure other people would enjoy this book if they have read James Patterson or James Cook. I liked the setting in Italy. I really did not dislike any part of this book. It truly was an easy read.
